The new year brought us back to the old west, to the state of Arizona; and as we look back to 2009 our lives have been enriched with many new friendships and experiences; and to our friends that have lost loved ones, we wish you strength and healing this year.
So far the year has started out with exploring several back country trails our Kawasaki, KLR as you travel the trails you could just imagine the pioneer settlers crossing the back country in their covered wagons. If you like being in the middle of nowhere you would enjoy our rides! Saddle Mountain RV Park in Tonopah has been a very nice place to stay, pretty quiet, nice spacious sites and about 20 miles away from a real grocery store.
In February we will leave Tonopah and slowly make our way up to Lake Havasu City, AZ for dry camping (camping without any hookups) as there are many acres of BLM land to camp on, it will nice to be off the gird for a few weeks, before heading to our new workamping job in Moab, UT.
Happy trails and best wishes for the new year!!!!!
